This might be a silly question, but i am new at this, and learning as i go, but the question is, when i am looking at the graph of a stock, when i want to buy it, like when it is at a low, since there is a 20 min delay. when i click buy, and i getting the stock for the price that i am seeing it at, or does the price go 20 minutes also? cause that can make quite a difference. Thanks for the help!

Check this out as a timeline.

Key:
X trade requested
X Trade executed.
===== is time

A Stock trade in realtime:

========XX======

Put order in on eInvesting Without a delay:

===XX===========

eInvesting order Delayed 20 minutes:

===X=====X======

With this method your trade should execute very close to what it is in real time.

The only problem with making trades happen immediatly is that people that get real-time quotes could "See into the future" and take advantage of fluctuations.

This isn't a perfect system, but you should be able to get your stock very close to the actual price it's really trading at.
