Maybe tis was asked before but....

Why does the portfolio percentage change after the market is closed?

Not sure but I think other stats have changed after the market closes.

It's all based on what Yahoo give as the current stock price. If you have a stock on a different market or they make some kind of change It'll change your portfolio.

We have changed the portfolio to check and update the prices once per hour 24 hours a day. Instead of just while the markets are open. Trades are still only put through while the markets are open though.

There is a 20 minute delay (like public quotes, not real time). So if you check it right after markets actually close, and again an hour later, it could differ.

Or maybe if there is a flurry of activity at the close, it takes the markets a little time to figure the official close.
