I'll try SGU this week at .95 pending, we'll still need 2 more players.

is there any website that gives a nice bank of stocks in the $0.50 to $2.00 range for day or "swing" traders, it seems pretty hard to just jump in and know what stocks to look for that are going to be low price

that is why we do this weekly challenge. we have to come up with picks of stocks that will move within the week, this is a real pencil sharpener. what better practice could a guy want? find your own picks from a scan and develop a system Wink once you have it figured out repeat with real $$$$ and enjoy. i normally do a scan of stocks from .50-2.00 and look until i like the ta. i pick up to 4 per week and track them all to see where i might have made an error. i make notes of why i thought this is better than the rest and print da chawts for review in a week. each week i try to focus more on how the ta has developed and how they respond.

any who. go to sharp charts.com or marketwatch to do your scans Very Happy

I see we do have 5 players if the last 2 weren't entered after the deadline, not sure so let's see what the time stamp on this post is and then I can update the field later this evening.

Here is the field for this week, everyone did make the deadline and since there were 5 players there will be a payoff, hopefully Mr. EIA paid out the awards for 1,2, and 3 from last week.

Jacob ZENX .95
Vester PFSW 1.44
Do5 TCX .74
Cinsage TAGS 1.50
Reaper SGU .95

ZENX, PFSW, and TAGS are off and running and have already qualified for the one day volume necessary, still waiting on SGU and TCX which have not hit their targets yet, good luck!

There once was a man from Montana
Who picked stocks just like Pollyanna
So he passed for a week
Gave his holdings a tweak
And vowed to play on like Santana

When his next Monday came
He was down in the game
So he tightened his belt even tighter
Bought some more shares, as much as he dares
Plays Poker to cover his losings ;-(

It don't rhyme, but it's true! One more week of this and I'm getting out the darts and the Sunday stock listings. Either that... or I'm buying a MONKEY! Razz

Let's see how this race is setting up at the halfway point, SGU still not in, neither is Do5's TCX but it is now signaling sell and a selloff from the .81 close, which would actually bullish, could hit the .74 target price, let's see how it sets up since it could be interesting Very Happy

The 3 that are now on the track.

ZENX actin like it's on zan-X since it hit Jacob's .95
PFSW stalling at 1.40 resistance, time fo Vestor to get out da whip!
TAGS is in a position to take out the 1.60+ high from Mon, yet still caught in da sell mode, is Cinsage trying to be sneaky with this pony?! Stay tuned race fans! Very Happy

Well, no surprise that the race wasn't as exciting as I thought it might be, if you look around da mawkets you will see that most of da crap gettin whacked drew very little attention Very Happy but that's OK because the weekly competition amongst the dawgs of da market must go on! and as long as there is at least 5 players somebody is gonna win some e$, I'm surprised more fokes doesn't want free e$, don't be shy! bring us yer favo rite dawg! Very Happy

Week 2 winners:

Win: Vester with PFSW which finished EVEN off the 1.44 start and closed at 1.437, Mr. EIA, award da winner $2000 e$

Place: Cinsage with TAGS which finished the week off the 1.50 start at 1.41, off 6%, but still a winner with an additional $1000 e$ coming to an account near Cinsage any second now Very Happy

Show: ZENX on zan-x finished third as it couldn't recover from a mid week stumble on da track, but gained $500 e$ for Jacob who's mind may have been too occupied wit da earnings report and not da race here at the dawg track. Very Happy

SGU and TCX did not qualify for the race since targets for each were not hit. I'm going to run the same dawg next week, my pick is SGU at .95 pending, but I might change it Very Happy have a great weekend!
