Alright Jacob, you have GTE at 1.94, now for the pick to qualify GTE needs to trade at 1.94 or lower at least once during the coming week, we need 3 more players.

we have a big sell off, yes it will fall. but, next week i will find one that doesnt have overhead resistance. i thought that one didnt but got cornfused in all the tickers i had jotted down on my desk. out of all the picks i think one was down today, not bad outta 10. i like the setup i have chosen for blast off's. tell me if anything is wrong with my indications?
base of at least a month or more, breaks out of a base above resistance, above the 50dma,increasing volume, increasing rsi, increasing mfi and minimal overhead resistance.. i think that is a good starting point and i have had good sucess with that style of picking. thanks to you, i will be working on the technical patterns for selling shorts. bye the way, i broke a rule that would be of mine to not sell short a stock that is still above the 50dma with rising indicators and volume.( aapl) Laughing yell- tomorrow Wink

Congrats to Jacob for winning the first stock picker's challenge with GTE, it finished with a gain of 9.79% off his entry price at 1.94, not bad! start with 10K, make a 10% return every week and roll it into the next week's 10% gainer and you'll be a millionaire in a year or so I'm wreckin! Very Happy the other play which was my SQNM also made a nice gain for the week but it didn't qualify by hitting my entry target, must have been real lonely out there on the track for GTE, no e$ will be awarded until we have at least 5 players so it looks like it may just be you and me again next week Jacob, until we can get some stock pickers ova heeeya! Very Happy
