You've found one of the coolest investing simulators on the web. With the eInvesting.com Stock Market Sim you virtually trade REAL stocks on the REAL stock market. You can trade just like you can in real life with a real broker but without spending a dime.

To add to the fun we have a monthly Stock Market Game competition. You get to compete against everyone else trading stocks on eInvesting.com. You can see where you stand via the "View the Rankings" link at the top of the page or in the message board, you can see a members virtual portfolio value and their percentage change by their username. This is a very unique system that promotes discussion, learning and competition.

As soon as you sign up for the investing forum you will receive 5000 e$ which you can use to buy virtual stocks in "Your Portfolio". Once you make 10 posts and become "active" you will receive another 5,000 e$.

In your eInvesting portfolio you can trade virtual (REAL) stocks, view your trade history, check your order queue, view the percentage calculation, see all interest earned and do a stock symbol lookup.

Every new post or reply you make will earn you 200 e$ and when people reply to a post you've started you make an extra 50 e$. •  You can make a trade 24 hours a day.

•  Once a trade is made (buy or sell) it is placed in queue and executes on a 20 minute delay during normal market hours. This is to take away any advantage someone would have viewing real-time quotes and "seeing into the future". You may view your order queue and cancel a trade before it goes through.

•  All trades, buying or selling charge a 10 eInvesting$ commission to add realism.

•  The rankings, and info by your posts will update periodically throughout the day based off your portfolio. Your portfolio however is based off the most recent yahoo stock quote.

•  Your virtual portfolio may hold up to 20 stocks.

•  Stocks must have a minimum value of $2/share, but you can sell it if it dips below this price. Sorry penny stock guys, it's just not that kind of game.

•  Stocks may not have a "." in them. This is usually reserved for options trading. At this time the game is not setup for these and can cause very unrealistic portfolio % changes.

•  Your portfolio percentage change will be reset at the first of each month to get ready for a new game. This way you won't get too far behind or too far ahead and will help keep things competitive.

• You can only purchase Market orders. There are no Limit Orders, Stop Orders or Stop Limit Orders but we do plan on adding them. (This just means you can only buy and sell in real time)
